Cardston Chase
The Cardston Chase is an annual race that coincides with the Town of Cardston's Heritage Days. Held in view of Chief Mountain, racers can choose from a 1K kid's race as well as 5K and 10K races.

1K Kids Dash
This Race will start under the football booth and head south, out of the gates onto the nature trail. Turn around on the path and head back to the track. Kids will have an electric finish running around the track clockwise back to the start/finish line. Music will be playing names will be announced and be sure to cheer on your little ones! The top finisher in each age male and female will get a medal! Age categories are 5&Under, 6-9, 10-12.
5K Run/Walk
Start around the track through the gates and head north east on the nature trail. Turn south on main street, staying on the sidewalk all the way up the 121 foot (37 Meter) elevation climb. At the top of the hill take a moment to look south west to see the incredible view of the rocky mountains and Old Chief mountain! Next you will run down 7th ave (highway 501) on the new running path. After making the descent you will head south on creekside road for a hairpin turn adjacent to the beautiful Lee Creek Valley Golf Course. Watch and cheer for family and friends as you head back towards the nature trail. Finish the last stretch on the incredibly scenic nature trail path in the river valley. Soon you will hear the music from the football booth to give another electric finish around the track!
10K Run
Start around the track through the gates and head south west on the nature trail (splitting with the 5km). Head south along the paved path along the beautiful view of Lee creek. Before getting to the 7th street bypass road you will head west up the new black paved path by the bike park. At the end of the path you will start running on 7th out to the Beazer road. Turning south on the 501/Beazer road until you hit a turn around point. This can be considered the most beautiful running route with amazing views of the mountains, country side and rolling hills.
